Nobody is ever good enough for your daughter, are they? Echoing Badlands in that respect, Wave will strike a chord with any parent. The film has one valuable advice for young suitors however, a nice big fish can go a long way.
Director Rob Hurtt's films have been described by Ricky Gervais as "the strangest thing i've ever seen" and as "truly odd and quirky film making" by Michael Palin.
