  1. Last night’s double bill of Laurel and Hardy and The General was quite simply one of the best film experiences I have enjoyed. Not just during the two years of Crystal Palace Pictures, but ever!

Aside from two truly great films – true genius at work in both cases – the night was made by the musical talents of Igor Outkine whose accordion helped bring Buster Keaton to life. We have definitely found a regular feature for future seasons.
